MY1016Z Geared United 250W, 24V DC Brushed Motor, 400 RPM
This popular reduction motor is simply the most commonly used motor for Scooters, Bikes and quad's available in the market!
It is normally found in the better quality quads and scooters on the market and is classed as a mid range combination. The low range (usually in the cheap kiddie carts) unit is generally a Johnson or Mabuchi 550 motor hooked together to a plastic toy gearbox (pretty poor quality).
Most people use this 250W motor as a starting block for building their own carts. It's suitable for kids up to about 5-7 years old (after that they may be getting a little heavy, and any younger and you wont be able to catch the kids)
It's most definately the best choice for younger kids and concerned parents who don't want the kids flying down the street at high speeds!
These use a common mounting block which makes replacement of a worn or broken motor a painless swap over.
They are quite powerful for their small size and extremely reliable. We've sold these for so many different applications that they were never designed for, but the robustness of the build makes them just go and go and go etc!
You wont find these in the cheap kiddie carts, but you will on the higher quality models!
If this is going to be used as a childs cart, please make sure the child is capable of driving it!

This motor is capable of rotation in either clockwise or counter clockwise by reversing the motor's power wires.
Please note that these would be illegal to connect to your Electric Bike or Scooter, The maximum legal limit is 200w.
