Gearboxes to suit all GPG AC & DC 60W, 90W and 120W (AC only) 90mm Motors
This gearbox will physically fit onto the 40W 90mm units as well, but because this gearbox is both capable of throughputting higher amounts of torque (upto 19.6Nm) and is much more expensive than the GN counterparts, you'll typically only see the GU boxes used with the higher power motors where its higher torque cap can be utilized.
You'd only use this gearbox with the lower wattage units if you specifically needed a 15mm shaft, if you needed to keep physical length to a minumum, or if you were using a very high gear reduction ratio which had already reached the GN cap of 9.8Nm (120:1 for the 40W DC units, and 50:1 for the 40W AC units).
