Mass Produced: Worm Drive Motors
These worm drive motors are produced for the masses. They are not available with many options simply because they are generally made for specific applications in bulk (like running a wiper). Lets take for example the first worm geared drive in this list. it is built for a company that manufactures ride on buggies. They make many thousands of these, so each time they place a large order, the manufacturer makes additional units at the end of the run and then sells the additional units to trading companies, who then on sell these to customers. These are the units you see here. They are built for a single purpose, but are adaptable to a variety of other projects and best of all, because they are mass produced, they are available in bulk.
