Single Phase 220-240v, 3-Phase 230V, 3-Phase 415V, Terminal Box or Lead Wire Type
Less common, the Reversible motor is designed for start/stop operations with changes of direction frequently. It is rated at 30 Minutes while used in this fashion. It uses a simple damping brake to slow the motor quickly to be able to change direction efficiently. This generates heat when the motor is frequently changing direction which is why all Reversible motors are rated for 30 minutes only. If you use it for less frequent changes of direction they can be used contuinously like a standard Induction Motor.
